Since 2001 we have sponsored a Dress for Success Clothing Drive, collecting interview-appropriate attire and accessories for women. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation (MBSEF), a program which raises money for youth sports training, and promotes positive values associated with competitive sports including skiing, kayaking and cycling. The International Mesothelioma Program (IMP) at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston was founded in 2002 and has since become the premier center for mesothelioma care. For some seniors and those living with a disability, maintaining independence can be difficult. Without the ability to drive or to walk longer distances, running every day errands is an impossible task. Store to Door connects those in need of assistance with volunteers from local businesses, who lend a hand by doing the grocery shopping and delivery for those who can’t do it on their own. Having currently donated more than 160,000 bouquets to hospice and palliative care patients since their founding in 2007, The Bloom Project holds a special place in our heart. By using donated flowers, this volunteer-driven non-profit brings joy to those near the end of their life throughout the Portland Metro area and Central Oregon. By being involved in programs such as this, we ensure that a sense of a community is being fostered and joy is being spread.
